Announcement: Alert from Alert Workflow - 7/8/22

At Unit21, we have added the ability for agents to duplicate an alert.

Why did we add this feature?

Agents can now create a workflow button that clones an alert. This is done by choosing the Create Alert option from the Create Case / Alert option in the workflow creation menu.

The workflow button can be accessed on an alert’s detail page. Using the workflow button directs the agent to the Create Alert page with the data from the previous alert filled out. This workflow is not allowed for bulk actions.

What does it look like?

You will now find the workflow option available in System > Workflows > Alert Workflow buttons page.


When creating a workflow button, simple select Create alert from the Create Case / Alert section:


How will this affect you?


This feature is not available by default.
