How to file a SAR

Once you have passed validation, you can submit a SAR to FinCEN.

1. Once the review process is over and everything looks good for submission, click the Submit button

2. A model will pop to confirm the submission. If you have CAR alerts configured, you will also have the option to raise a CAR alert after a preconfigured time.

3. Click the Confirm button and your report filing will be sent to FinCEN.

4. Within the next few days, Unit21 will update your SAR with the BSA tracking ID once we get confirmation from FinCEN when they receive your filing and the BSA ID once we get confirmation that FinCEN processed your filing.
