Quality Control (QC)

Quality control (QC)is a process employed by AML teams to ensure that the work that is submitted by their agents meets a certain standard of quality.

Most AML teams have a QC process and the standard of quality is defined differently at each organization.

QC is different than QA.

• QC is a 'blocking' function, e.g. it happens between when the work is completed and when the work is submitted
• QA is a 'lookback' function, eg: it happens after the work has been submitted
